Heritage Day

Heritage Day
I had a great day yesterday playing music at The Museum of Appalachia for their Student Heritage Day. It was a great event to be a part of and really like nothing else I have ever experienced.

Heritage Day is an event that is directed to share Appalachian culture and music with a younger generation, and it kicks off the museum's annual Tennessee Fall Homecoming celebration. Being a part of that younger generation and being interested in Appalachian music/culture, I have a lot of appreciation and respect for what the museum does to share, teach, and pass along the Appalachian traditions. And I would like to thank everyone at the museum both for making this event possible and for letting me be apart of it.
