My Music

One of the only things that I like just as much as making music is listening to music that others have made. Whether it is washing dishes, eating, fishing, blogging, or whatever else, it is almost always better when I am listening to music. Most times when I would watch TV or movies I would rather be listening to music. So in a nutshell when I am not playing music I am listening to music!

As for what kind of music I listen to, I guess it is mainly Merle Haggard, Styx, Taylor Swift- that sort of stuff. So in other words I listen to a pretty big variety of stuff. But the main music that I listen to, at least lately, is classic country and classic rock.

Then there is that very hard question that I get asked a lot, which is who is my favorite musician or band to listen to. That is an exceptionally hard question for me to answer but I will try to do so in this blog. Here are my top three....(Get ready/ These might be odd choices for a 14-year-old to make)

1. The Doors

 

The Doors are probably the strangest of my three favorite artists. But to me, strange is good thing and it really set them apart from a lot of other classic rock bands.

 

2. Don Williams

 

Don Williams is about as classic country as you can get. He has one of the easiest voices to listen to that I have ever heard. Also his songs are easy to relate to and almost all of them have a great message.

 

3. Johnny Cash

 

I have never heard anyone else who sounded so good just talking. I find it incredible how many of his songs are just him talking with music behind him, yet they are some of the best songs of all time!

 



 

 

Well I was going to go into my favorite songs but I think I will save that for another time....
