After months of anticipation the week has finally arrived of the annual NGFDA Fall Festival at Unicoi State Park.
The combination of the festival being held 30 minutes from my house and the fact that have attended this festival for the last five years makes this festival much like a big family reunion for me. Other than visiting with old friends and meeting new friends, for me probably the aspect of the festival that sets it apart from all others is the massive vendor hall. With dozens of vendors it is a premiere place to try out or even to buy a new or used dulcimer along with all sorts of other dulcimer books, CDs, and other merchandise.
I am looking forward to seeing all of you that are going to be there! And if you can not be there make sure to keep it in mind for future years!
